Device Installation

Install trailpulse in five clear steps from positioning to app calibration.

Positioning

Select position Repeat tests Confirm crossing

Choose the final sensor-mat position and walk the area several times. Verify detection at different walking speeds and from both directions.

Tip: Only continue when detection is stable and repeatable.

SCHRITT 02

Mark & Dig

Outline Level approx. 15 cm

Mark the mat outline, excavate the area and level the sub-base. Keep the trench clean so the mat sits evenly.

Tip: Remove roots and loose stones before placing the mat.

SCHRITT 03

Bury

3-5 cm deep ~15 cm wide Straight mat

Place the mat into the prepared trench. Typical installation depth is 3-5 cm with a width around 15 cm.

Tip: Place the mat without tension and avoid cable kinks.

SCHRITT 04

Compacting

Flush finish Trail surface Durability

Compact fill material layer by layer until the surface is flush with the trail. This minimizes substrate movement and protects the installation.

Tip: Do a walk test again after compaction.

Calibrate with the Installer App

Bluefy iOS Chrome Android Completion report

Run calibration in the installer app: on iOS with Bluefy, on Android in Chrome. Complete multiple test runs and save the installation report.

Tip: Capture a final on-site verification linked to the device ID.
  • iOS: open Bluefy browser
  • Android: open Chrome browser
  • Launch installer and connect device
  • Run multiple test passes
  • Save installation report

Start device setup

In the Trailpulse dashboard, set up your device and project and start the installation flow. For the installer web app on site: iOS with the Bluefy browser, Android with Chrome — enable Bluetooth and location permissions.
